Memorial Day Fun

This weekend, we had another family trip. This time to Corpus Christi to visit my family. First, we too some time to take Luke to the Texas State Aquarium to show him the dolphins, turtles, and fish. He was somewhat impressed, but a few sites were "yawners" as viewed by the picture below.

Saturday was a family filled day. We went to visit my family in Alice for lunch and to see my cousin's new daughter, Kaydence. She is so small and too cute! I cannot remember Luke being that small. Saturday night we saw more family at my aunt's house in Corpus. He loved Sophie, the dog. However, we are not ready for a dog in the house yet. ;-) The best part of the day was Luke getting to spend time with his great grandparents.

Monday, Luke had a play date with his buddy Braden. His parents pulled out the kiddie pool and invited us over to watch the boys play. Luke was not a fan of the cold water and was a little scared of the dragon. (See pictures below.) we will definitely try again in the near future.

All in all, this was a great weekend. We look forward to many more family outings this summer. Luke is quite the traveler now. Plus there are so many fun things to do in Austin. There is so much we want to show Luke for the first time!

Enjoy!
