Luke's favorite "game" these days is playing books. At least that is what I call it. He likes to pull out all the books from his book shelf and gather them on the floor. (He has quite a collection I might add.) Then, he stacks them, pulls some open to flip the pages, and pretends to read. I love that he is interested in books more than trucks these days. He likes when we read to him. He will choose a book, bring it over to us and sit in our lap as we begin to read. He now sits through an entire book.
Recently, Owen said he did not understand the point of letting him pull out all the books just for us to put them back. But as a mom, I see the point. It makes him happy, he loves books, he likes storytime, and one day he will get better about putting the books back himself. ;)
